I just joined the site and would like to meet friends to socialise with.

Yes, there's loads of different groups out there, but finding a particular one of interest is tricky. I've been to poetry meetups twice, but all the members were 60+ and into serious poetry. It's great to meet a younger crowd with similar interests :-)
