Hi Marie, thanks for joining the group. I take it you'd like to teach some EOT? First can you put a photo on your profile? I feel your pain! Every new weave, braided extension was greeted with oohs & ahs, including an orangey weave afro (yes, please forgive me!). Boyfriends even offered to pay to relax it (when they saw me take the weaves etc out!)... it is just sad. Yet, my own hair generates nothing but stunned silence, looks of pity, questions about what happened to it & comments about how it just doesn't look good etc. I have decided to try to just laugh off negativity now.
