Most coaches have been trained in one to one coaching and rarely learn the art of group coaching.
Yet, let's be honest, if you're going to spend 4 hours coaching would you prefer to be paid by one person or ten? Or to put it more plainly, would you prefer to earn £300 or £3000 in 4 hours? In coaching, we call that a leading question! ;) The fact is, however, group coaching maximises the income you can achieve from effective coaching. Bit it requires an additional set of skills from one-to-one coaching. Without these skills the outcomes of the group are unlikely to be met. To meet a demand for group coaching skills, the Smart School of Coaching has launched its accredited Certificate in Group Coaching. This 2 day course will give you great skills and a safe environment to practise them first. To ensure you can coach in a group effectively, you will learn how to: Manage group dynamics Connect with individuals in a group Generate individual learning and self-discovery in a group Harness the power of many people Leverage the pool of wisdom, ideas and creativity Use techniques from Action Learning that can help in group coaching Build peer-coaching processes to achieve one-to-one coaching in a group Use the difference between a team and a group to ensure your coaching is targeted effectively In addition, we will explore how you can generate group coaching business to build your practice and generate significant income. The Smart School Certificate in Group Coaching is accredited by ITOL and you will gain 12 hours ITOL CPD points for your professional coaching CV. The course is being launched on 26th/27th October with a 50% discount. The 2 day course will cost just £295! To book a place, book on this Meetup site. The Smart School of Coaching will then communicate directly with you Book early to make sure you get a place. This is being advertised to 2500 people in the next week. I hope to see you there Nick Bolton |
